Metro Milwaukee Employment Transportation Services

Employers within a 45 radius of Milwaukee can access a large labor pool of qualified workers by using the Milwaukee Area JobRide Collaborative (MAJC) funded by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation, Wisconsin Employment Transportation Assistance Program (WETAP). MAJC provides safe, affordable and reliable employment transportation to and from worksites not served by the public transit system.

Milwaukee Careers Cooperative (MCC) along with Employ Milwaukee and Esperanza Unida formed the Milwaukee Area JobRide Collaborative (MAJC) to operate the JobRide services in Southeastern Wisconsin. Employ Milwaukee works with all of the Job Centers in Milwaukee County to ensure employers have access to the large labor pool of job seekers without cars and the MAJC JobRide van services to get them to and from work. MCC has over 21 years of experience in providing employment transportation services and is the managing partner for MAJC.

For more information about the employment transportation services offered by MAJC, please contact John Possell, MAJC JobRide Coordinator: email: johnpossell@mccjobs.org , phone: 414-937-8260 Ext. 33, or Fax: 414-937-8266.
